There is another way of living

I didn't always know that

For many years, I became very good at doing the things I thought I should do.

Building a career. Performing. Continuing. Becoming better at listening to everything around me and adjusting myself accordingly, while slowly moving further away from listening to myself.

From the outside, many things looked right.
From the inside, something quietly didn't.

Then, after an intensely busy period of work, my body reached a point where it simply couldn't keep going the way I had been living.

I stopped sleeping properly. My energy disappeared. I couldn't recover, no matter how much I rested.

For a long time, I didn't understand why my body wasn't recovering. I only knew that something had changed, and that I could no longer live the way I had before.

For a while, I thought I simply needed to give myself more time. But eventually, I realised something was asking for my attention.

I had spent so much of my life learning how to push through, perform and keep going. Now I had to learn something completely different:

How to listen.

And because I had so little energy, I had to start very small.

It started with food

There was a period when eating was one of the only things I still had the energy for.

I wasn't eating terribly. I was simply exhausted, and when you are exhausted, you reach for what is easy. Food became something that got me through the day rather than something that truly nourished me.

At some point I thought: If this is one of the few things I can influence right now, I want to understand it.

So I began exploring. I learned about nutrition, different ways of eating, the relationship between food and the body, and eventually much more about what it means to eat according to your own unique nature.

And I discovered something that changed the way I looked at food forever:

Eating well isn't simply about eating healthy food.

Something can be considered healthy and still not be what your body needs. The more I listened, the more I learned what actually supported me.

Over time, my relationship with food changed completely. My body changed too, but that was never the most important part. What mattered was that food stopped taking so much energy from me. It became something that nourished me, supported me and brought me pleasure.

And that was the beginning of a much bigger question: What else might change if I started listening to my body instead of constantly asking it to adapt to me?

Then came movement

At the time, I had very little energy. I was told I needed to exercise more — ideally several times a week, for longer sessions, pushing myself harder.

But my body was telling me something else.
It didn't need more pushing.
It needed support.

So I started incredibly small. I created short strength routines that worked multiple muscle groups at once, and I did them just twice a week.

I also began exploring other forms of movement — not to exhaust myself, but to bring more ease and regulation into my body.

And something surprised me. The small amount I was doing was enough.

I became stronger. My body changed. My legs became stronger and more defined. My arms became stronger than they had ever been.

And I began to understand something I had never really understood before:

Small does not mean insignificant.

Something doesn't have to be intense to be transformative. Sometimes the most powerful things are the things you can return to again and again.

A few minutes of movement.
A nourishing meal.
A moment to breathe.
A little more rest.
A decision to listen instead of override.

These things can look almost too simple to matter. But repeated over time, they can change the way you experience your entire life.

And then I discovered pleasure

This was a different kind of discovery.

Through pleasure practice, I began exploring what it means to feel deeply connected to yourself, your body and your own aliveness.

And slowly, something shifted. I started looking less outside myself for the things I had once used to soothe, reward or fill myself.

I didn't need to numb as much. I didn't need to reach for the same things. I became much more sensitive to what genuinely felt good — and what didn't.

Not because I had created more rules for myself. Quite the opposite. Because I could finally feel the difference.

I remember sitting on a terrace one day when someone ordered something I used to absolutely love. I looked at it and realised: I don't actually want that.
There was no restriction. No battle. No shouldn't. It simply wasn't what I wanted anymore.
That moment stayed with me.

Because this is what I had been looking for all along.

Not more discipline.
Not more rules.
Not another version of myself to become.
More connection.

The more connected I became to my body, the easier it became to hear what it was asking for. And the more I listened, the more my life began to change.

What I discovered

I spent years believing that if I wanted to feel different, I would have to do something big.

Learn something new.
Heal something.
Fix something.
Change something.

What my body taught me was almost the opposite.

The things that changed my life most were rarely the biggest things I did. They were the things I could return to.

Again and again.

A different breakfast.
Five minutes of movement.
More rest.
More pleasure.
Listening a little more closely.
Giving my body what it was actually asking for.

Layer by layer, those small things changed almost everything. And not for a few weeks or months. They became a way of living.

Life didn't suddenly become perfect. Difficult things didn't stop happening. But life became softer.

There is more joy in my days.
More lightness.
More trust.
More pleasure.
More compassion for myself.
And, perhaps most importantly, more safety in simply being who I already am.

I still listen.
I still learn.
I still return.

But I feel more at home in myself and my body than I ever have before. I've simply become more myself.

Small things, repeated over time, can change the way you experience your entire life.

The Body grew from that journey

I didn't set out to create a programme. I was simply trying to find a different way to live.

And over the years, I gathered the things that genuinely helped me — from nutrition and movement to nervous system support, pleasure, embodiment and the many small practices that helped me come back to myself.

I tested them.
Questioned them.
Let go of what didn't work.
Kept what did.

And I discovered that these things weren't separate at all. Movement, nourishment and pleasure began to strengthen one another — each making it easier to listen, respond and come back to myself in the others.

And slowly, a way of living began to emerge. The Body is the result of that journey.

Not because I believe I've found the right way to live.
But because I discovered how different life can feel when you stop overriding yourself and start listening.

And I wanted to create a space where other women could explore that for themselves.

You don't need to have lived my story

In fact, I hope you haven't.

You don't need to have experienced exhaustion or disconnection to benefit from learning how to listen to your body.

You don't need to lose weight.

You don't need to fix anything.

And you don't need to be struggling.

The Body is for women in many different seasons of life.

For the woman who feels exhausted.

For the woman who is thriving.

For the woman who has spent years working on herself.

For the woman who is only just beginning to listen.

For the woman who simply knows that there has to be more.

More nourishment.

More ease.

More trust.

More pleasure.

More aliveness.

More of herself.

The Body unfolds slowly over the course of a year.

Not because you need a year to become someone new.

But because I don't want you to become someone new.

I want you to have the time and space to discover what happens when you begin living in a deeper relationship with the body you already have.

That is what The Body is an invitation into.

Not another thing to do.

A different way of living.
